Maths Revision Courses

Maths revision courses are a great way to prepare for assessments by building skills and confidence quickly. For the 2024/25 school year, I’m offering various sets of Maths revision courses for National 5 & Higher Maths – prelim revision days in January, a three day revision course in the April holidays, a two-day revision weekend in April (Nat 5 only) and final exam revision days in May. These will be conducted in a relaxed and supportive manner with limited numbers so that everyone receives direct instructor input. All content will be aligned with the standard SQA curriculums and based on intimate knowledge of previous years assessments.

Maths Prelim Revision Day

The prelims can give a huge boost in confidence towards the final exam, as well as being a key opportunity to consolidate knowledge and build skills. Schools generally impose a 30% prelim score as a benchmark for taking the final exam. Although we can’t review everything in 5 hours, we aim to hit the topics that are likely to appear on the exam. The focus of the day will be practicing key techniques rather than theory. Attendees will be issued additional practice questions to continue their preparations following the session.
